Who am I?
I saw a blog link a while ago that linked up posts where people were using a selection of single words to describe themselves.
Lately I've been reading the most amazing comments on my facebook and twitter accounts. Some following blogs that I have written and others just supportive words from virtual friends that have followed mine and my families homeless situation from the beginning and also from reading the challenges I have faced on a daily basis regarding Samuel.
I wanted to quote a couple that have blown me away.
"I read your blog the other week and honestly don't know how you've stayed so positive. What a woman! Nice to see its paid off".
"Brilliant! sounds perfect! The room of doom hasn't/won't break you and THAT says a lot for your marriage".
"Think of you often and am in awe of your positivity".
"You are doing an amazing job and are an inspiration".
"Gorgeous - and one hell of a woman".
And the support goes on......
I have always been very independent and having worked many years in child protection, been a single parent, suffered domestic abuse and fought many battles to gain the right support for Samuel I know that I am strong, but homelessness has pushed that to another level.
So now I feel that I finally know myself.
I am STRONG, INDEPENDENT, CARING, LOVING, SENSIBLE, RELIABLE, SMILEY, POSITIVE, HARD-WORKING, APPRECIATIVE, RESOURCEFUL, INSIGHTFUL, GIGGLY, DETERMINED, PROTECTIVE.
I'd love to hear YOU describe yourself in 15 single words.
