Being "homeless" has had a significant knock on effect in many areas of our family life. One that I find particularly difficult to get my head around is quite simply how to enjoy ourselves.
Sometimes I feel that we should be doing something related to sorting out our housing issue, rather than continuing everyday life, but in reality there is really not much more that we can do on a day to day basis, particularly at weekends.
However, when I do try to plan an enjoyable activity I feel almost guilty. I think this is why I haven't blogged many of our days out of late.
Taking Oliver and Isabella to nursery and stay and play is fine, because I see that as being no different to sending Samuel to school each day, but a trip to the beach, the park or a weekend visit to the zoo feels quite odd at the moment.
Of course I'm being silly, I shouldn't change my family's usual activities just because we currently do not have a place to call home, and more importantly the children "need" to get out of this room! Keeping them caged in such a small space is difficult enough at the times we have to be indoors, let alone staying within four walls when there are places we can go to get a break.
So, with that in mind, I am sharing a few happy pictures from recent family outings.

Life must go on.
