Happy Birthday Isabella Karen
Today is my daughter's 2nd birthday. It's a huge milestone for her and the end of an era for me. My youngest baby is now a fully fledged toddler.
Isabella has actually been an independent madam since the day she was born. An easy baby, she fed, she slept she pooped. Her teeth came through with minimal fuss. She followed baby led weaning and eats everything (even dirt).
She was rolling and sitting early, she crawled with ease and took her first precious steps at 10 months old and by her first birthday was running.
This girl is in a hurry!
Isabella potty trained herself at 18 months by copying her brother Oliver and a month later decided she didn't need pull ups at night either and was the first of my children to be dry at night. Her first words included a full sentence "my turn now" showing how desperate she was to keep up with her brothers and make her place in the family known.
My heart bursts with pride every time I look at her. She has the most amazing mess of blonde curls, the biggest brown eyes I've ever seen and a knack of fluttering her eyelashes for a Daddy cuddle whenever the fancy takes her.
Yes, she eats dirt. She has even tried washing her hands in her potty. Her pretty dresses are thrown in the wash stained with the day and her little legs are bruised from stumbles and falls.
She is still my beautiful daughter and she makes me smile every day.
Happy Birthday Isabella, love from Mummy x x
