Sign2Sing Record Break Attempt - 6th February 2013

Samuel has recently been learning some sign language and tomorrow he is joining his school, along with thousands of others in the UK and around the world in attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the largest number of people signing and singing.

Over 800 schools have registered to join in.  The children will each be donating £1.00 and in return each child will receive their very own official record breaker certificate and their own digital key to unlock games, competitions and and prizes online via Olli the Monkey's World of Signing.

Samuel will also be wearing a scarf tomorrow, just like Olli the Monkey.  I can't think of a scarf more appropriate than his Junior Poolies Hartlepool Scarf, featuring their mascot Hangus the Monkey!

All the money raised from this event will go towards helping SignHealth continue their work in looking after the health and wellbeing of vulnerable deaf children and adults.

I feel quite excited that Samuel is taking part in this record breaking attempts.

Good luck to all the children and teachers taking part.
